After the release of the new Dreambox DM520 HD in the market, here comes the turn of the new Dreambox DM525 HD which is similar to Dreambox DM520 HD, but includes a Common Interface slot on the back of the equipment.
The compact Dreambox DM525 sets with its contemporary design and technical equipment at the highest level new standards. The new video standard H.265, which is required for the DVB-T2 reception in Germany and many other countries, among others, is supported by the HDTV Dreambox.
A Broadcom chipset of the latest generation (BCM 73625) ensures fast switching and fast navigation. The DM525 is delivered with the popular RCU10 multi-remote control for Dreambox and playback devices such as TVs or Blu-ray player. The typical compact speakers 256 MB flash memory trumps DM525 with 512MB - enough storage for innovative IP services. For this purpose are already some apps in planning. Additionally, the DM525 also supports Sat> IP standard. About the rear Ethernet port or optional wireless Dreambox to the Internet is connected.
The futuristic design of the DM525 with the color status LED indicator embodies the innovation, for the Dreamboxen are known worldwide. So has the DM525 on the front of a lit touch On / Off sensor. On the back are among other sse two USB Connections, through which the user can restore the Dreambox in the case of flash crashes by hand without it they must submit.
