Again news from the developers kitchen. Straight one in betatest:
- new : completely reworked harddisk initialization. You will find this menu in
Menu -> System setup -> More system setup -> Harddisk -> Installation.
In this menu you can create up to 4 partitions on your harddisk -
a swap-partition (really important for the amerika and canada), two
system-partions. All other free space on the disk is allocated for the
PVR automatically. In case you create system partition #1, after the
initialization was successfull, a bootable system is installed on this
partition. You can switch to "kernel cmd line 2" in the bootloader
(requires bootloader V3.24 or above) and the box will boot from HD.
You can initialie the whole disk, if the box is not bootet from HD, or
format a single partition i.e. to delete all your PVR-recordings.
- change: Some additional code in the satellite-scan for the american/canadian
market.
- change: reworked plugin-loader (fully backward compatible). Now there are much
more checks to the attached devices. So, if a newly atteched device
does not have an /plugin directory and at least one plugin, nothing
happens to the currently loaded plugins anymore. Even the same if a
device is removed. If no plugin from the removed devices was loaded,
no plugin is unloaded. Additionally the loader checks the directory
/mnt/hd/data/stb/lib/dvb2001 (if system-partition #1 exists, this
partition is mounted to /mnt/hd/data) to load plugins. The loader is
also able to load plugins from multiple USB-devices. In earlier
versions only the first USB-device was used.
- change: The menu now shows pagenumbers in the to right corner in the case, if
not all elements fits into one page (i.e. in satellite scan if more
than 8 satellites are configured or in Extras, if more than 5 plugins
exist).
- change: in the plugin-interface, if the version-string starts with an uppercase
'H', the plugin is not listed in the Extras-menu. This is usefull for
plugins, which provide no menu.
- bugfix: on services or PVR-recordings with multiple audio-tracks, if you
selected an different track, audio was not played anymore until you
switch to a different service ro an different recording.
- bugfix: MP3-player slowed down after heavy zapping.
- bugfix: CA/CI was initialized wrong, if a CI-module and a Card was inserted and
both devices where able to descramble the same CA-system.
- bugfix: circular polarization was handled wrong sometimes.
- bugfix: removing an USB-device causes a doubled plugin-reload.
